4 days tours from marrakech to sahara desert and come back to marrakech
Day
1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou –
Ouarzazate –Dades.
Depart at 08:00 from Marrakesh to
dades valley via the High Atlas Mountains Tizi n'Tichka pass throughout the
high Atlas Mountains we will have time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes
and Berber hamlets, and break for coffee and mint tea. In the afternoon we will
get the chance the visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as
it has been named by UNESCO in 1987. This Berber Kasbahs which has been used as
a very important destination for international filmmakers for more than 20
films was also one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt
Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory, salt and silk from sub-Saharan
countries to Marrakech and beyond. We'll pass through Ouarzazate, or what we
call Hollywood of africa since it's has been as well a very famous destination
for filmmakers, after ouarzazate we will continue to dades valley , trough the
megoun ,skoura (berber villages around the valley) we will spend the night in
dades valley.
Day 2: Dades - Erfoud - Merzouga
- Camel ride -Night in desert .
after breakfast, we go from Dades to
Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through
Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis
of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga, after relaxing in Merzouga we go
to ride the camels in the dunes of erg Chebbi. It is a great experience to
imagine yourself riding a camel in erg chebbi where the silence of the desert
is the dominant.before we reach the camp ,we leave the camels and we walk to a
high dune to see the sunset. Dinner is served under a Berber tent with Berber
drums music.
Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif -
Tazarine - Nkoub – Draa Valley - Agdez – Ouarzazate.
Early morning departure to be at the sunrise on
the dunes, return by dromedaries to the hotel to take the breakfast and start
to the huge palm grove of Tafilalet through Rissani. Way towards Alnif (lunch
on the spot), Tazarine Oasis, N'kob and the Draa Valley. Next, way to
Ouarzazate via the small Berber villager named Agdez and the mountains of the
Anti-Atlas (1660m high). Dinner and night in the Hotel.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Tizi N tichka -
Marrakech.
After breakfast, start to Fint Oasis: at the top
of a rocky peak, discovery of the oasis nestled in the wadi surrounded by the
mountains. Four small villages where time seems to be stopped, and where
inhabitants peacefully live on the resources of that wonderful oasis. Lunch on
the way to Marrakech and night in your hotel. End of the trip around 5 pm.
